We’re excited to partner with Textile Arts L.A. on a new book club, READING MATERIALS, with a focus on art and materials. We will be reading books about the artist’s life, about ways of seeing and reasons for making, and about our inextricable relationship with the materials in our hands.

The first book will be Peter Korn’s Why We Make Things and Why it Matters: The Education of a Craftsman, which we will discuss on Tuesday, May 19th.

READING MATERIALS will take place from 7:00 - 8:30 pm via GOOGLE HANGOUTS on TUESDAYS May 19 and June 16, and WEDNESDAY July 22
