Join Lydia Tjioe Hall and Elise Preiss for an afternoon of Spool-inspired activities. Participants will create an art card (a la Spool aesthetics) by stitching, drawing and stamping, and then addressing it to a fellow artist pen pal. Folks will also make their own “ephemera” using fabric scraps to create rope, which can be for personal use or added to a collaborative, coiled sculpture. Mark-making in the collective journal is also encouraged—a project that is inspired by Spool’s own collaborative journals—which will be on display at Studio 203 for the duraing of spooling, through November 19, 2022.
