About the exhibition

Woven Reflections, an exhibit by Cameron Taylor-Brown at Studio 203, explores the interplay of real and reflected, positive and negative, warp and weft. Photographs by the artist of landscapes (Giverny, Brothers Islands) and cityscapes (Manhattan Bridge) are printed onto cloth, deconstructed, and woven into textiles which are then layered and stitched into abstracted images that echo their origins. These mysterious images invite the viewer to ask what might be there… and then again, what might not.
